I had one of those card with 2 of my gtx a few years ago when it fist come out it run great. As a result, physics in games has been limited to a few objects in a scene, one-off “effects” or visual trickery that just mimics real physics. Simply put, it requires a highly specialized processor to deliver rich immersive environments. In many of today’s games, objects just don’t seem to act the way you’d want or expect. Serious gamers are left with a fine game, but one with a missing sense of realism to make the experience truly immersive.

I sale it because its too hot inside my case at the time so i have to pick between keeping the sound card or the physx card i pick the sound card cause there is not that many game that use the card at the time.: I’ve had one from the day they were released but I haven’t had it in my Phhysx in a long time.

Not xgeia impressive considering the Athlon 64 X2 could potentially achieve 25 billion instructions per second per CPU core with a maximum potential of 50 billion instructions per second per physical CPU. Are these even compatible with the newer games? Given the much older driver, you’ll probably run into compatibility issues with newer games that use more recent versions of the PhysX system software.

Until now, only limited software physics has been integrated in games. TheHunterFeb 7, That means physics computation has been handled by the general purpose CPU which is already burdened with the ever increasing demands of today’s advanced games including game logic and AI.
Both ran like complete crap on the Ageia card. As a result, physics in games has been limited to a few objects in a scene, one-off “effects” or visual trickery that just mimics real physics.
I never tried any of those games with the Ageia card. Phjsx is all about how objects in your game move and react. Things don’t just look real; they act real and feel real.
